Privacy Notice

What we collect

• Account: your name and email address, from Google sign-in or email sign-up.
• Your profile: the background you tell us or that we read from your CV, such as work history, skills, target roles, and your answers to onboarding questions.
• Files you upload: your CV, and any application forms you ask Bloom to help with.
• Your activity: the jobs Bloom matches, your swipes, saved and archived roles, and the CVs it tailors for you.

How we use it

We use your data to build your profile, search public job listings, assess how well roles fit you and explain why, look up information about employers, tailor your CV, help you complete applications, send you a digest and notifications, and operate the service.

How Bloom uses AI

To do the above, Bloom sends parts of your profile and the relevant job listings to AI models, and sends back the result. Some of this runs on our own servers in Singapore. Some runs on z.ai (the GLM model), a third-party AI provider: under z.ai’s API terms your content is not used to train their models, and we send only the information needed for the task. AI outputs can be wrong or incomplete, so Bloom shows you its reasoning and you make the final decision. Bloom never sends an application on your behalf without you.

Who processes your data

• Google Cloud and Firebase: hosting, database, file storage and sign-in, in the Singapore region.
• z.ai (GLM): AI processing for matching, tailoring and related tasks, under its API terms (no training on your content; governed by Singapore law).
• Microsoft: to deliver email such as your digest and sign-in links.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Overseas transfer

Some of these providers may process data outside Singapore. Where they do, we take steps for a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.

Storage and security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud in the Singapore region, encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to your own account.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete everything at any time in Settings. This permanently erases your profile, files, matches, applications and account.

Your rights under the PDPA

You may access and correct your personal data, and withdraw consent or ask us to delete it, through Settings or by contacting us. We will respond in accordance with the PDPA.

Cookies

Bloom uses a single sign-in (session) cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
